Longfor and the Minhang government joint venture, they commissioned logon.design with a one-stop design solution package for their Longfor Danshui Industrial Park.
Located in Minhang district in Shanghai, the Longfor Danshui Industrial Park is divided into east and west zones, with a total of 46 buildings cover 45,000 sqm. The project is based on an existing and outdated industrial park, featuring low quality buildings, not attractive overall image and a lack of facilities. logon designed a new industrial park for high-tech tenants. It offers a resourceful mix of functions that integrate light production, R&D, office and life in one place. Meeting halls, a promotion center and commercial facilities complete the modern service offering.
The upgraded park is designed ina reduced, modern architectural style. Illegal structures were removed tocreate more public green spaces, traffic and roads optimized. Parking lots werecarefully integrated, to create a lush, green and good quality overallimpression. The buildings were modernized with new lifts and improved layoutefficiency. The facades were mostly modernized, while only a few key originaldesign elements were preserved to provide a link to the history of the projectand maintain a unique character. The result is a modern, flexible workplacethat meets the demands of innovative urban industries.
The demonstration zone opened in October 2020 and the project set to be completed in March 2021.
